Can brands exist without social media in 2023? In this week’s episode we’re examining the rise of so-called ‘unsocial brands’ – brands who have decided to turn their back on social media. Whilst this may not be an option for many businesses, it raises some interesting questions on the problems of growing your brand on a third-party platform. We look at the example of cosmetics company, Lush, who took the decision to stop posting to their social media platforms in 2021, and share our thoughts on other ways to market your business aside from social media.
