Helly Hansen’s introduces its new Winter 2022 collection With innovative technologies and performance-driven gear, designed for cold winters and arctic conditions

Founded in Norway in 1877, Helly Hansen has an impressive history of creating performance-driven gear to help people stay and feel alive in some of the world’s harshest outdoor environments. From the mountains to the oceans, the brand continues to introduce professional-grade gear bolstered by innovative technologies and the insight of thousands of outdoor professionals. For the Winter 2022 season, Helly Hansen introduces a collection featuring both new and proven technologies and responsible designs, inspired by cold city winters and freezing Arctic environments.

For the season, where warmth and comfort are especially key, the brand features its proven H2Flow™ temperature regulation technology throughout the Ski, Urban and Sailing collections. The revolutionary system allows users to control heat and airflow through strategically placed ventilation zips – keeping them warm by storing hot air and enabling them to cool down during changing weather conditions and fluctuating activity levels.

Continuing its success with more responsible technologies that deliver on outdoor protection, products in this season’s ULLR freeride collection feature Helly Hansen’s most innovative, waterproof/breathable technology to date: LIFA INFINITY PRO™. The technology is built with a fully waterproof/breathable LIFA INFINITY™ membrane and durable water-repellent performance, achieved without the use of chemicals. Using LIFA® technology, a proprietary Helly Hansen fibre that is lightweight and hydrophobic, the membrane is combined with 100% LIFA® face fabric, creating a revolutionary technology that delivers long-lasting and professional-grade performance. Meanwhile, products in the Ski and Outdoor collections feature the brand’s waterproof/breathable, LIFA INFINITY™ technology.

This season’s colour stories are rooted in the continuing ‘outdoor boom’ trend – driven by an increased desire for being at one with nature and being in the outdoors. Drawing inspiration from calming mineral tones and energising natural ingredients, the collection presents dynamic colour combinations and traditional pairings, resulting in a distinct aesthetic. From jade, malachite, and amethyst tones to ‘darkest spruce’ and ‘triple espresso’, consumers get a fresh colour pallet alongside dependable staple tones this season.

Helly Hansen’s new Winter collection firmly reiterates the brand’s commitment to delivering professional-grade gear that enables the wearer to embrace the elements. The range presents on-trend and innovative pieces fit for challenging winter weather and cold outdoor environments.
